“The modern day goddess is passionately dedicated to discovering her inner truth, accepting her divinity, owning her power, and sharing her unique gifts with the world.”

I started 100 Graces when I first began pursuing my spiritual path. After I graduated from my training as a yoga teacher and healing arts practitioner, I wanted to take start a business where I could create, design and apply my knowledge in these fields. I started designing jewelry and in the heat of passionate inspiration, 100 Graces was born. During this time, I read and fell in love with the book “Goddesses in Everywoman” by Jean Shinoda Bolen. The book speaks about how the ancient goddesses of Greek mythology serve as archetypes that help us connect with the female psyche. It highlights that there are many universal patterns of behaviors that drive different woman and by understanding one’s own archetype, one becomes aware- and that awareness brings personal empowerment. I was incredibly inspired by the insight of this book and it made me come to the realization that I wanted to create a collection of jewelry inspired by the many different goddess archetypes. In combination with my knowledge of gemstone healing, each piece would connect with the healing energy that particular goddess brings. Women who bought certain pieces would be drawn to that piece because they needed to connect with that energy.

The quote above came to me while I was meditating one day and I knew immediately that it would be the mantra for 100 Graces. I wanted this to be reflected in all the jewelry I create. The modern day goddess is self-aware, acts with passion, does what feels good in her soul and embraces the richness of her inner universe. I believe every woman is a goddess with her own unique story to discover. What is your story? Comment below!
